Course Description
This course is offered by the University of Nebraska Kearney on our UNK Advance platform in partnership with the Online Learning Consortium.
This workshop will have leaders critically examine future-oriented policies and processes in teaching and learning contexts. Using a framework of ethical and responsible use, we’ll consider the multifaceted impact of AI on faculty. Leaders will craft policies and practices that support innovation, integrity, and inclusivity in the age of AI.
Learning Objectives
- Discuss the multifaceted impact of AI on higher education, including its impacts on teaching methodologies, student engagement, and administrative processes.
- Analyze change management techniques and policy frameworks for effectively integrating AI technologies while considering ethical, logistical, and educational perspectives.
- Create a plan to support innovation, training, and continuous learning to stay abreast of AI advancements and their implications for higher education.
