Course Description
This course, grounded in hope theory, explores the transformative power of hopeful thinking for educational leaders. Through an understanding of hope's core components—agency, pathways, and goal-setting—participants will develop strategies to foster resilience, improve well-being, and cultivate positive outcomes for themselves and their school communities. Leaders will engage in self-reflective practices to inspire a culture of hope, empowering both individual growth and collaborative success within educational settings.

Policies
This non-credit course is offered online using the Canvas LMS, over a 10-week period. It is asynchronous, but not self-paced. You will have a total of 84 days to complete the course. The 84 days to complete begins on the day of enrollment and under no circumstances will extensions be given. The course is approximately 10 hours. You should plan to spend about 1-2 hours per week on the course. You will be assessed throughout the course to demonstrate proficiency on the subject matter. You must pass all assessments before receiving the course badge.
