Full course description
This module is designed to provide agronomy, seed and agribusiness professionals an understanding of the genetic basis for variation observed among agronomiccrops and weed populations, and explore its relationship to the development of new traits in crop varieties. Agribusiness professionals learn how to explain variation observed in plant families and populations using classical and molecular genetic principles using whole-plant trait observations and molecular analysis. Learners explore the information through several genetic studies on crop and weed species.
