Strategic Communications

Course Description

Strategic Communications and Resource Development explores marketing, branding, and fundraising strategies that can be used to safeguard the nonprofit organization's future. Across two half-day sessions, you can begin developing, refining, and strengthening your organization's communication strategy. 

This interactive course allows participants to review case studies, explore applications of marketing principles, and engage in discussion with peers, expert facilitators, and guest speakers. Other topics covered include public relations, storytelling, social media, and fundraising strategies. This program is for all experience levels in nonprofit marketing, communications, and/or fundraising. 

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the importance of nonprofit branding and marketing strategy
  2. Learn marketing tactics to increase nonprofit visibility and brand awareness
