This course supports professional learning and engagement for adults working to provide nature�based learning experiences for young children - learning in, with and through nature. Taking this course will empower these adults to be advocates for nature-based learning and to help increase opportunities for children to spend more time in nature within their own communities. The course consists of 9 core classes and a variety of elective courses, equally 30 total contact hours. Putting it into practice reflections will be completed for at least 10 of the courses. A final, capstone project is completed by each participant, with a dual purpose of sharing what they have learned and inspiring others.
