This course is comprised of two Google Career Certificates.

  1. Google AI Essentials is a self-paced course designed to help people across roles and industries get essential AI skills to boost their productivity, zero experience required. The course is taught by AI experts at Google who are working to make the technology helpful for everyone.
  2. Google Prompting Essentials teaches you how to give clear and specific instructions to generative AI - known as prompting.  In 5 easy steps, you'll learn how to prmpt effectively and unlock more of AI's benefits.  

**Please note, these two certificates are also included in other Google Career Certificate programs. If you are already enrolled in another Google Career Certificate program, you do not need to purchase this set. This is a standalone AI version.

Policies

This non-credit course is offered online using the Canvas LMS (Learning Management System) and Coursera, over a 13-week period. It is asynchronous, but not self-paced. You will have until March 30, 2025 to complete the course. You should plan to spend about 10 hours on the course. You will be assessed throughout the course to demonstrate proficiency on the subject matter. You must pass all assessments before receiving the course badge and certificate.
