Course Description
This course explores how stepfamilies communicate to build, negotiate, and reshape their relationships across roles, experiences, and time. Participants will examine key turning points identified by stepfamily members and learn about five unique developmental patterns (trajectories) observed in stepfamilies. The course provide practical applications for clinical work and supporting stepfamily members.

- Understand stepfamily members’ perspective on their family turning points.
- Use strengths and challenges of stepchild and stepparents roles.
